Par for the Course: Sac ABOTA's Golf Tournament Highlights




What an incredible day on the greens! We're still buzzing from the excitement of our recent golf tournament, and we couldn't be more grateful for everyone who made this event such a tremendous success.

Celebrating Our Champions

The competition was fierce, but several teams and individuals rose above the rest:

Top Men's Team honors go to Keith Chidlaw, Brad Thomas, Ian Scharg, and Nolan Armstrong, who dominated the course with their impressive teamwork and skill.


The Top Women's Team trophy belongs to Madison Simmons, Maddy Meager, Cole Simmons, and Anastasiya Novitskaya, who showcased incredible precision and strategy throughout their round.


Our Top Mixed Team award goes to Max Hammersmith, Judi Callahan, Ronald Vanderpol, and Christine Vanderpol, proving that great golf transcends gender when players work together seamlessly.


Individual Standouts

The individual competitions were equally thrilling:

  • EJ Rogers showed nerves of steel to win the Putting Contest

  • Nick Salvetti claimed the Men's Closest to the Pin with a shot that had everyone talking

  • Wilma Gray took home the Women's Closest to the Pin with remarkable accuracy

  • Tommy Lininger powered his way to victory in the Men's Longest Drive competition

  • Julie Laskin crushed the competition to win the Women's Longest Drive

This tournament reminded us why we love this game and this community. The combination of friendly competition, outstanding sportsmanship, and shared passion for golf made for an unforgettable day. We're already looking forward to next year's event!
